Job Description: Site Engineer (Civil Engineering)

Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise, monitor and coordinate daily site activities to ensure work progress is in line with project schedule, quality, and safety standards.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and execution of civil and structural works according to drawings and specifications.
- Prepare and update site reports, inspection records, progress reports, and other necessary documentation.
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, and company quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) procedures.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Assist in managing resources such as manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently.
- Provide technical support and ensure works are carried out according to Singapore standards, codes of practice, and contractual requirements.
- Report project progress and issues to the Project Manager/Construction Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification recognized by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore.
- At least 1-3 years of relevant working experience in civil engineering or building construction projects (fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles).
- Good knowledge of construction processes, structural drawings, and local authority requirements.
- Familiar with BCA, LTA, PUB, NEA, and other statutory regulations.
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management software will be an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Able to work under pressure and willing to perform overtime or shift duties if required.
