Job Summary
Oversee construction site activities and technical documentation to ensure quality and compliance. Coordinate resources and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support project management for successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage and control construction drawings and technical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Supervise daily construction site activities, coordinating all trades to maintain quality standards
- Ensure construction work follows updated drawings, specifications, method statements, master programme, and consultants instructions
- Liaise with clients, consultants, Resident Engineers (RE), and Resident Technical Officers (RTO) to conduct site inspections and participate in weekly and monthly meetings
- Manage procurement of site resources including subcontractors, suppliers, manpower, materials, and machinery to support project progress
- Identify and resolve technical issues on site by preparing method statements, shop drawings, working drawings, as-built drawings, and detailed progress reports with photographs
- Support project manager or project director by performing additional duties as required to facilitate project success
Required competencies and certifications
- Possess a valid C3 or higher driving license
- Hold a post-graduate or bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering
