Job Summary
JUTURNA PTE. LTD. seeks a Site Engineer to coordinate and monitor marine reclamation works onboard a reclaimer barge in Singapore waters, ensuring smooth site operations and compliance with safety standards during vessel deployment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily site activities onboard the reclaimer barge to ensure efficient marine reclamation operations
- Monitor and report progress of sand filling, spreading, and level control to meet project specifications
- Liaise with reclaimer barge and other vessels to synchronize marine equipment activities for seamless operations
- Collaborate with survey teams to verify levels and positioning for accurate site execution
- Supervise site activities to ensure adherence to technical specifications and quality standards
- Enforce workplace safety requirements and safe work procedures to maintain a safe working environment onboard
- Prepare and maintain daily site reports and documentation to track progress and support project management
- Support coordination with subcontractors and internal teams to facilitate smooth project delivery
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in construction, marine works, or similar projects
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans to support site activities
- Basic proficiency in AutoCAD for reviewing and preparing drawings
- Ability to assist in preparation of simple drawings and site sketches as required
- Familiarity with site documentation, reporting, and coordination processes
- Comfortable working onboard vessels and in outdoor site environments
- Willingness to stay onboard the vessel during deployment periods
- Good communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
