The Site Engineer supports the day-to-day execution of site construction works, ensuring projects are carried out safely, on schedule, and in accordance with design specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily site construction activities to ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and site teams to ensure smooth execution of works.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
- Assist in resolving technical issues and troubleshooting on-site problems.
- Monitor site progress and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site safety procedures.
- Review and verify as-built drawings, method statements, and other technical documents.
- Coordinate material and resource requirements to support construction schedules.
- Liaise with relevant authorities and consultants as required.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar discipline.
- At least 1 year of site experience in civil/building construction projects.
- Good understanding of construction methods, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work on-site and manage multiple tasks under tight timelines.
- Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD is an advantage.
- Good team player with a proactive attitude.
