Job Description
- required to attend daily pre-work meeting punctually prior to commencement of site activities and submit daily and weekly works programme to the SO
- required to attend meeting as and when notified and he shall make available a responsible person with authority to accept and make decisions and to act on his behalf. All site meetings shall be properly minuted and recorded by Engineer.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any deviations from the original plan.
- Prepare reports for clients detailing the process and outcomes.
- Develop a detailed replacement plan, including timelines, resource allocation
- Ensure the work area is safe and properly prepared, including securing necessary permits.
- Coordinate with other teams to minimize disruption to ongoing operations.
- Order and manage the procurement of Materials and any necessary tools or equipment.
- Verify that all materials meet the required specifications and standards.
- Supervise the work process, ensuring it is carried out according to the engineering standards and safety regulations.
- Document all inspections and tests performed.
- Analyse potential risks and develop contingency plans.
- Ensure that all systems are fully operational before declaring the job complete.
- Enforce safety protocols to protect personnel and equipment during the replacement process.
- Conduct safety briefings and ensure all team members are aware of their responsibilities.
Requirements
- At least three (3) years relevant experience in road and road structure construction
- Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board or qualifications acceptable by the Commissioner of Building Control for registration as Resident Engineer
