Job Overview:
As a Civil Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in planning, supervising, and executing construction site operations. You will ensure all work is completed in accordance with project specifications, timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations, while leading a team of technicians and coordinating with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
. Plan and manage daily site activities to align with project timelines and company objectives.
. Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
. Lead a team of technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
. Perform site inspections, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions when issues arise.
. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
. Inspect and verify work performed by internal teams and external vendors to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
. Promote and enforce adherence to Singapore's Code of Practices, WSH Act, and other relevant regulations.
. Identify and rectify unsafe conditions or practices promptly.
. Handle any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Skills:
. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
. Preferably 1+ year of relevant experience in site engineering or construction management.
. Strong understanding of construction plans, technical drawings, and specifications.
. Proficient in project and site management tools/software.
. Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and the WSH Act.
. Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality.
. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
. Experience in supervising and coordinating the on-site execution of works, including piling, rebar, and structural activities.
