Job Description

Brief Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to oversee project activities and ensure compliance with engineering specifications. This role offers the opportunity to lead significant construction projects through effective coordination and management.

Responsibilities

Prepare and monitor shop drawings, material submissions, and construction programs for consultant approval.
Coordinate site activities including inspections, measurements, and overall supervision to ensure alignment with specifications and schedules.
Attend various project meetings such as progress and safety meetings, as well as meetings with subcontractors.
Create and update project schedules and status reports, along with daily reports, site diaries, and weekly progress reports.
Support safety initiatives by ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environment (HSE) requirements on-site.
Liaise with subcontractors, clients, and relevant authorities regarding M&E services inspections and quality checks.
Plan and oversee all M&E service inspections, testing, and commissioning processes.
Coordinate project handover processes to the client's operational team.
Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management as needed.

Requirements

A recognized Degree in Engineering (Electrical) or an equivalent qualification accepted by the PE Board.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the construction sector.
Proven experience in the local construction industry and in coordinating building services.
Strong supervisory skills and ability to work independently.
