Job Summary
The Site Engineer (Electrical/Fire Alarm) will lead site supervision, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure quality and timely completion of electrical and fire alarm works, resolving technical issues and managing resources effectively.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise supervisors and foremen to ensure adherence to quality procedures and workmanship standards
- Inspect and verify the quality and quantity of subcontractors work to maintain project standards
- Develop and implement detailed site programs to guide the team and ensure timely project completion
- Resolve drawing discrepancies and technical challenges by collaborating with the Technical team
- Prepare comprehensive method statements and work instructions to support construction activities
- Coordinate communication and workflow between subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments to meet project schedules
- Liaise with Consultants regarding submissions related to structural works and technical requirements
- Plan site activities including scheduling, construction methods, and forecasting equipment, material, and manpower needs
- Organize materials and maintain site safety and cleanliness to support efficient operations
- Prepare cost estimates and ensure availability of appropriate materials and tools for project execution
Required competencies and certifications
- Possess necessary certificates to carry out electrical and fire alarm site engineering tasks
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of relevant or similar working experience
- Well-organized and responsible personality
