Job Summary
Support project management by resolving technical issues and supervising construction activities to ensure quality, safety, and compliance on site.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager by resolving technical issues, managing submissions, scheduling tasks, and coordinating inspections to maintain project progress
- Supervise daily construction activities on site by interpreting drawings, managing materials, and enforcing safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate effectively with architects, contractors, clients, subcontractors, and other professionals to ensure smooth project execution
- Inspect construction sites to verify adherence to engineering and design specifications, identifying and addressing deviations promptly
- Prepare detailed reports including daily logs, progress updates, and method statements to document project status and processes
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot on-site technical difficulties to maintain workflow and project standards
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant local construction project experience
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations to support effective site supervision and compliance
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment to achieve project goals
