Site Engineer

Support site execution and commissioning activities for PLC and power monitoring systems across industrial and building projects. This role is suitable for engineers with hands-on experience in site coordination, control panels, electrical troubleshooting, and testing & commissioning who enjoy working in field-based automation environments.

About the Role

The Singapore engineering team is looking for a Site Engineer with practical experience in PLC systems, control panels, and site installation activities. You will be responsible for supporting installation coordination, testing & commissioning, troubleshooting, and project execution activities on-site.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on engineering work, field troubleshooting, and working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients.

What You'll Be Doing

• Coordinate and support site installation activities for PLC and power monitoring systems
• Perform testing, commissioning, and functional verification of PLCs, control panels, meters, and field devices
• Troubleshoot wiring, communication networks, and system integration issues
• Assist with site documentation, testing reports, and handover activities
• Coordinate with project engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution
• Support system integration and on-site technical activities
• Ensure installation and commissioning activities are completed according to project requirements

PLC & Power Monitoring Systems (Preferred)

• Basic understanding of PLC systems and control panel operations
• Familiarity with electrical drawings and site wiring practices
• Exposure to communication protocols such as Modbus is an advantage
• Understanding of power monitoring systems and field instrumentation
• Experience supporting testing and commissioning activities on-site

What We're Looking For

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, or related discipline
• Minimum 1 year of relevant site experience in PLC, control systems, or power monitoring projects
• Basic understanding of electrical drawings, control panels, and communication protocols
• Willingness to work on-site and support testing & commissioning activities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams

Preferred (Added Advantage)

• Exposure to Modbus or industrial communication protocols
• Experience in troubleshooting control panels and field devices
• Familiarity with site coordination and project documentation
• Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and coordination abilities
• Attention to safety, quality, and project execution standards
