Position Summary
We are seeking a high-caliber Site Engineer for a permanent position a multi-billion dollar segment of the project in Singapore. This role is responsible for the daily execution, supervision, and coordination of deep excavation, piling, and major reinforced concrete (RC) works, ensuring project delivery aligns perfectly with Land Transport Authority (LTA) regulations and milestones.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily on-site civil, structural, and geotechnical works, including diaphragm walls, deep excavation, and RC structures.
- Coordinate work schedules, manpower deployment, and material deliveries with subcontractors and suppliers to prevent delays.
- Liaise directly with all the relevant stakeholders for daily inspections and technical approvals.
- Submit Request for Inspection (RFI) forms, conduct structural walk-throughs, and ensure all site activities strictly match approved construction drawings.
- Work alongside the WSH team to implement Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), maintaining a zero-accident site environment.
- Maintain precise site diaries, track daily output logs, compile progress photographs, and assist in drafting weekly and monthly progress reports.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers (PE) Board Singapore, or equivalent LTA-approved qualifications.
- 2 to 5 years of main contractor experience in major civil infrastructure, tunneling, or deep basement excavation projects within Singapore.
- Thorough understanding of LTA, BCA, and MOM statutory requirements, construction protocols, and safety standards.
- Strong ability to interpret complex structural/shop drawings and proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and readiness to adapt to infrastructure project site hours.
