SITE ENGINEER

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

. Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities at the project site.

. Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project schedules.

. Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site workers to ensure smooth progress of works.

. Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed within the required timeline.

. Conduct regular site inspections and ensure all works comply with project requirements and quality standards.

. Review construction drawings and provide technical support to the site team.

. Prepare and maintain site documentation, including site reports, progress reports, inspection records and other project-related documents.

. Monitor materials, manpower and equipment usage at site.

. Identify and resolve site issues, technical problems and construction discrepancies in consultation with the Project Manager/Consultant.

. Ensure compliance with workplace safety, health and environmental requirements.

. Attend site meetings and coordinate with relevant parties on project matters.

. Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and managing construction works.

. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

. Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building or a related discipline.

. Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry preferred.

. Experience in site supervision and coordination of construction works.

. Able to read and understand construction drawings, specifications and technical documents.

. Good knowledge of construction methods, materials and site practices.

. Familiar with Singapore construction safety requirements and regulations.

. Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

. Able to work independently as well as in a team.

. Good organisational skills and able to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.

. Proficient in Microsoft Office knowledge of AutoCAD and other construction-related software will be an advantage.

. Willing to work on construction sites and, when required, work beyond normal hours to meet project requirements.
