Site Engineer

Job Description:

• Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Oversee construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Monitor and inspect construction materials and workmanship to ensure adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
• Act as a liaison between project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and address any technical or logistical issues that arise during construction, offering practical solutions to minimize delays or disruptions.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of project progress, including daily reports, work logs, and any changes to plans or specifications.
• Enforce and promote strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, creating a secure work environment for all personnel on-site.
• Monitor project expenditures to ensure they align with the approved budget and make recommendations for cost-saving measures where applicable.
• Regularly update project managers and stakeholders on the status of construction projects, highlighting achievements, challenges, and milestones.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to achieve project goals collectively.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods.
• Familiarity with relevant software tools, including project management and design software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
