Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site to ensure works are completed according to drawings, specifications, and schedule.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal project teams.
- Review construction drawings and provide technical support to resolve site issues.
- Monitor work progress, quality, and site safety requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure works comply with project specifications and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and maintain site documentation, progress reports, inspection records, and technical submissions.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, material coordination, and manpower allocation.
- Identify and resolve construction issues in a timely manner.
- Support the Project Manager/Construction Manager in ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 2-5 years of site engineering experience, preferably with an A1 main contractor.
- Good knowledge of construction processes, technical drawings, and site coordination.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing site activities.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Knowledge of Singapore construction regulations and safety requirements is an advantage.
