About the Role:
Are you a meticulous problem-solver passionate about delivering seamless software experiences We are seeking a skilled SIT Test Engineer to play a critical role in safeguarding the quality and reliability of our integrated systems. You will be the key advocate for our clients, ensuring that diverse software components work in perfect harmony before delivery. Key Responsibilities:
- Test Planning & Design: Develop comprehensive, detail-oriented test plans and test cases based on user stories, technical specifications, and design documents. Your focus will be on integration points, data flow, and end-to-end system behavior
- Robust Test Execution: Perform thorough manual testing, including functional, integration, regression, and acceptance testing for new features and existing functionality. You will own the quality of your assigned modules
- Strategic Defect Management: Proactively identify, document, and track defects with clear and concise steps-to-reproduce. Collaborate with developers to validate fixes and perform root cause analysis to prevent regression
- Test Environment Expertise: Provision, manage, and troubleshoot complex personal and shared test environments, including Windows VMs and Linux servers, to ensure a reliable and consistent testing foundation
- Quality Advocacy & Process Improvement: Champion quality throughout the SDLC. Provide early and continuous feedback on requirements, specifications, and technical designs. Actively contribute to the evolution of our QA processes, tools, and knowledge repositories
What We're Looking For (Qualifications):
- Proven experience as a Test Engineer, QA Engineer, or similar role, with a focus on system integration testing
- Strong ability to design, develop, and execute manual test cases with a keen eye for detail
- Hands-on experience managing testing environments (e.g., VMware, VirtualBox, AWS/Azure VMs, Linux CLI)
- Solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly articulate issues to technical and non-technical team members
Bonus Points (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, QTest)
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and test setup
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger)
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and how testing integrates into the pipeline
