Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a Sinhalese (Sinhala) Translator. The Translator will be responsible for translating various documents from English to Sinhala and vice versa. Day-to-day tasks include translating written materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency, maintaining the original tone and context, and proofreading translations to ensure high-quality output.

Qualifications

• Fluency in both English and Sinhalese (Sinhala)
• Skills in translation, localization, and language adaptation
• Ability to proofread and ensure accurate translations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with translation tools and software is a plus
• Familiarity with cultural nuances and context for effective translation
• Bachelor&aposs degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred
