Responsibilities
- Perform music for live audiences and recordings to deliver engaging and high-quality performances
- Audition for roles in concerts, operas, musicals, and other musical productions to secure performance opportunities
- Practice singing exercises and study with vocal coaches to develop vocal skills and prepare for upcoming roles
- Collaborate with a manager or agent to manage administrative tasks, secure work, and negotiate contracts effectively
- Research roles and analyze characters to deliver authentic and compelling portrayals
- Learn and rehearse songs thoroughly to ensure accurate and confident performances
- Attend auditions and rehearsals punctually as scheduled to maintain readiness and professionalism
- Work closely with directors, composers, and fellow singers to achieve the desired sound and artistic vision in performances
- Implement vocal care techniques to protect the voice from strain and damage during practice and performances
- Develop and maintain a consistent personal brand and public image, including active engagement on social media platforms
