Main purpose of the role:

We are looking for a Derivatives / Structured Products Lawyer to support a leading financial institution's Markets business. This role will focus on providing legal advice across derivatives and structured products transactions, ensuring smooth execution and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Provide day-to-day legal support on derivatives and structured products transactions, including advisory on transaction structuring and execution.
  • Draft, review and negotiate a range of legal documentation, including ISDA agreements, confirmations, schedules and transaction documents.
  • Advise on structured products (e.g. notes, warrants, securitisations) and related distribution and marketing arrangements.
  • Provide regulatory advice across Singapore and key global markets, including ongoing monitoring of legal and regulatory developments.

Person specification:

  • 3–5 years qualified lawyer in a common law jurisdiction with experience in derivatives, structured products, or financial markets.
  • Strong experience in drafting and negotiating financial documentation (e.g. ISDA, CSA, GMRA or structured product documentation).
  • Solid understanding of derivatives, structured finance, and capital markets products (e.g. equity, rates, credit, commodities).
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to partner closely with business stakeholders.
