Main purpose of the role:
Simmons Adaptive is currently seeking for a Global Markets/Derivatives Lawyer for a live client assignment with one of the firms key global clients.
You will be responsible for:
- Provide legal support in respect of OTC derivatives transactions and other Global Markets products and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain templates and liaising with external counsel when necessary.
- Assisting with documentation such as drafting and reviewing ISDA Master Agreements, trade confirmations and product term sheets.
Person specification:
- You are a qualified Solicitor with 5- 10 years PQE of relevant experience with a reputable local or international law firm.
- You have recent experience working on derivatives transactions and global markets documentation (ISDA master agreements).
- You have excellent transactional, negotiation and drafting skills and will have demonstrated the ability to take initiative and apply good commercial and legal judgment.
- You have experience with FinTech, digital platforms, services and products advantageous.
