We are looking for an experienced Product Engineer to drive memory/cache functional testing and silicon validation for advanced semiconductor products. This role plays a critical part in new product introduction (NPI), test development, and silicon debug in production environments.
Key Responsibilities
New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Develop characterization strategies and test coverage plans during pre-silicon phase
- Define functional test pattern requirements and collaborate with Design Verification teams
- Execute characterization and validation plans on first silicon
- Deliver optimized test solutions across PVT corners to meet product and quality targets
Test Development & Silicon Validation
- Develop, debug, and optimize cache/memory functional test and BIST content
- Create and maintain test programs, vectors, and test suites on ATE (Advantest V93k)
- Drive coverage improvements and efficient test methodologies for production
Debug & Failure Analysis
- Perform device characterization and circuit sensitivity analysis
- Lead root-cause investigations and implement mitigation solutions
- Work closely with global teams to resolve silicon and test-related issues
Innovation & Collaboration
- Contribute to new ideas in test, debug, DFT/DFM methodologies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Validation, and Product Engineering teams
Preferred Experience
- 7+ years in semiconductor (Product Engineering / Silicon Validation / Test)
- Strong background in:
- Memory / cache functional testing
- Cache BIST / MBIST / array testing methodologies
- Post-silicon validation and production test
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with:
- ATE platforms (Advantest V93k preferred, T2K is a plus)
- Test program & test class/method development
- Strong knowledge of:
- Cache/memory architecture (SRAM, cache hierarchy, arrays)
- Functional test pattern development (non-ATPG focus)
- Pre-silicon simulation and debug
- Familiarity with DFT concepts (MBIST preferred; scan/ATPG is secondary)
Programming Skills
- Proficiency in one or more:
- Python, Perl, Ruby, Java, or C++
