JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Systems Engineer to bridge photonic hardware with electronic systems, ensuring seamless integration of optical interconnects into large-scale computing platforms. This role combines technical depth with cross-functional collaboration.
This role necessitates a hands-on approach in defining system level requirements which involves collaboration across different sites to ensure the delivery of high-performance analog products. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking products from the initial concept phase through production.
Responsibilities include
Define system-level requirements for silicon photonics interconnects.
Work with design, packaging, and reliability teams to ensure manufacturability and scalability.
Develop test plans and validate optical links in prototype and production systems.
Analyze performance trade-offs (bandwidth, latency, power efficiency).
Collaborate with customers and partners to align solutions with application needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
BS/MS/PHD in Electrical Engineering.
Experience in system architecture, optical/electrical co-design, or high-speed interconnects and high-speed lab testing.
Knowledge of photonic packaging, signal integrity, and reliability testing.
Familiarity with data center or HPC system requirements is a plus.
