Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for signage projects, considering factors such as materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs. Analyze different signage options and materials to identify the most cost-effective solutions. Develop cost models and templates for standardized signage projects.
Tendering and Procurement: Assist in the preparation of tender documents for signage projects. Evaluate bids from contractors and suppliers to select the most suitable and cost-effective options. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and contractors.
Contract Administration: Manage and administer contracts with suppliers and contractors. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and resolve any disputes. Prepare variation orders and claims as needed.
Cost Control: Monitor and track project costs throughout the construction phase. Identify potential cost overruns or savings and implement measures to address them. Prepare progress payments and final accounts.
Post-Contract Valuation: Prepare final accounts for the signage project, including cost reconciliation and payment certification. Assist in the resolution of any post-contract cost disputes.
Compliance:Ensure compliance with all relevant Singapore building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Requirement:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on signage projects.
Experience in working with signage design professionals, manufacturers, and contractors.
A diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field from a recognized university.
Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is preferred
