Project Manager (Signage & Wayfinding - Hybrid Design Role)
Job Description:
Radical Design is seeking a hybrid Project Manager with both design capability and project delivery experience in signage and wayfinding systems.
This role sits between design and execution - requiring the ability to develop design intent, coordinate stakeholders, and drive implementation on site. You will be involved from early concept stages through to fabrication and installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead signage and wayfinding projects from concept to completion
- Contribute to design development, including layout planning and signage strategy
- Translate concepts into technical drawings and buildable details
- Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, and contractors
- Review shop drawings, materials, and mock-ups to ensure design integrity
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and installation supervision
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and project coordination across multiple packages
- Resolve design and site issues with practical, buildable solutions
Requirements:
- Min 5 years experience in signage, wayfinding, environmental graphics, or related fields
- Background in Architecture, Environmental Design, Industrial Design, or similar
- Ability to both design and manage - not purely one discipline
- Strong understanding of materials, fabrication methods, and installation processes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential) & Adobe Illustrator
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and coordinate with multiple disciplines
- Strong communication and coordination skills
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience managing large-scale or complex developments such as transport hubs, healthcare, or mixed-use projects
- Familiarity with Singapore authority requirements related to signage and wayfinding
- Experience collaborating with signage fabricators and contractors
- Understanding of user journey and wayfinding strategy principles
