Job Description

Job Responsibilities

You are responsible for overseeing Shipment and Packing for Finish good and ensuring cost efficiency and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Order Process Execution:

  • Collaborate with business teams and stakeholder for shipping request thru packing list and forwarder arrangement in ERP.
  • Maintain accurate packing requirement and prepare for packing list requirement and accuracy of Finish Good inventory in shipping warehouse.
  • Collaboration with external forwarder for all the shipment and Export requirement.
  • Ensure Ontime delivery for shipment plan.

Stakeholder Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholder.
  • Regularly assess forwarder performance and address any issues or concerns.
  • Monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Follow thru all the action with Customer service / Planner for the Shipment plan

Quality and Compliance:

  • Ensure that all packing goods and services meet the required quality standards
  • Implement and enforce shipping and packing policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards

Job Requirements

Professional Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Bachelor's degree
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement within the manufacturing industry
  • Proficient in ERP/MRP system
  • Skilled in supplier negotiation and relationship management id advantages
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Expertise and Skills

  • Experience in the warehouse and shipping
  • Understanding of import/export operations
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for document preparation
  • Basic knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., IATF, ISO)
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Financial literacy
  • Proficiency in English
  • Understanding of Japanese is an advantage

Competency:

  • Able to listen effectively and follow up appropriate instructions
  • Capable of reporting necessary information, such as issues and production progress
  • Able to accurately identify problems and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to implement solutions

Attribute:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for collaboration across multiple departments
  • A cooperative and team-oriented personality is preferred

Others:

  • The position typically involves weekday daytime work however, weekend or holiday work may be required based on instructions from the direct superior
  • The role may involve working in a cleanroom environment
