About the role
Spectrum Ingredients Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and organised Shipping & Logistics Executive to join our team in Singapore. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and timely distribution of our products to customers both locally and internationally. Join a well-established company located just 5 minutes walk from Redhill MRT.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- 5 days work week
What you'll be doing
- Coordinate the logistics of product shipments, transshipments, including booking transportation, arranging customs clearance, and tracking deliveries
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs agents, and other logistics providers to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations
- Maintain accurate inventory records and provide timely updates on the status of shipmentsIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the shipping and logistics function
- Provide support to the sales team by responding to customer inquiries and resolving any delivery-related issues
- Assist with the preparation of shipping documentation and other administrative tasks as needed
What we're looking for
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar shipping and logistics role, preferably within the manufacturing or distribution industry
- Strong working knowledge of logistics processes, including transportation, customs, and inventory management
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to navigate complex shipping situationsProficient in using logistics management software and other relevant technology
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Preferably able to start at short notice or immediately
