Job Description
- Source, negotiate, and manage freight forwarders for all deliveries
- Prepare logistics and purchase requisitions
- Monitor freight forwarder and logistics performance, including cost-saving initiatives
- Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, vendors, and shipping agents to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Prepare and manage shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, insurance documents, and delivery orders
- Work closely with Finance on shipping payments, invoices, warranties, and Letter of Credit (LC) documentation
- Track and update delivery status regularly in the system
- Support order fulfillment and ensure delivery commitments are met
- Prepare logistics reports and expense summaries for management review
- Coordinate delivery inspections with surveyors and quality teams
- Attend logistics, supply chain, and project meetings as required
- Communicate with customers and stakeholders regarding order and delivery status
- Support ad-hoc projects and tasks assigned by management
- Follow company Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures
- Participate in hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety improvement activities
- Ensure compliance with local legal and safety requirements
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in related discipline or equivalent
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of related experience
- Experience working with ERP, AX or other documentation software
- Freight and logistic handling
- Letter of Credit management
