Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another
Arrange transportation and deliveries of goods from suppliers to meet customers demand without any delay
Manage activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle within stipulated deadlines
Documentation and Administration
Coordinate documentations with suppliers for shipment of goods to customers
Support the purchases of goods and services to our customers globally
Handle full scope of purchasing documentation process (generate and complete the approval of Sales Orders and POs manage, monitor and update delivery status and schedules highlighting any discrepancies/delay to the superior and provide recommendations as necessary).
Prepare all shipping documents for import shipments and process bank documents such as Letter of Credit, etc.
Carry out administrative tasks such as data input, processing of information, completing paper work and filling of documents.
Handle feedbacks & complaints from customers and suppliers
Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Superior.
Continuous Improvements
Review of freight costs, transportation rates or any other costs associated with logistics arrangements for cost optimization
Track the performance of suppliers, and support improvement initiatives with suppliers
Continuous process improvement, e.g. streamlines documentation process to simplify and improve processing time
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma, preferably in supply chain management and logistics.
Minimum 7 years of relevant logistic and shipping experience. Candidate who comes from trading industry is highly preferred
Hands-on experience in LC preparation and documentation is a must
Strong technical knowledge in the logistic and shipping industry
Highly proficient in desktop technologies (e.g. MS Office Excel, Word, Outlook) and in ERP system (e.g. Oracle).
