Job Summary
Manage full container load (FCL) export shipments and vessel operations to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant shipping processes that support business growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end management of FCL export shipments by coordinating bookings and preparing shipping documentation to ensure seamless cargo movement and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate vessel operations during port calls to facilitate husbandry services and optimize vessel turnaround times
- Prepare and verify full sets of shipping documents, including Bills of Lading (B/L) and cargo manifests, to maintain accuracy and compliance with shipping regulations
- Execute daily shipping operations and transactions with precision and timeliness to enhance overall operational efficiency
- Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams by taking initiative and applying meticulous attention to detail to drive continuous process improvements
Required competencies and certifications
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and relevant system software to support and streamline shipping operations
- Communicate shipping information clearly and accurately using strong command of written and spoken English
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Possess a diploma or higher qualification in a relevant field
- Relevant working experience in shipping agency and containerized shipments
