Job Summary
You will coordinate daily shipping operations by managing orders, liaising with internal and external teams, and ensuring timely and accurate shipment processing to meet customer and company KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Manage and verify daily customer orders received via email or EDI to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Create orders and generate pick slips using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or perform system transactions in customer systems such as SAP and Oracle
- Ensure all orders are shipped on time and transactions are completed accurately to meet key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to hand over orders for picking and packing
- Collaborate with internal teams, including warehouse and traffic, to ensure timely shipment dispatch
- Communicate with external partners such as forwarders and couriers to arrange shipment bookings and prepare Air Waybills (AWB) in courier systems
- Verify that all information on AWBs (e.g., shipper, consignee, value, billing account, Incoterms) is declared correctly
- Book necessary permits promptly and accurately to avoid shipment delays
- Respond promptly to internal and external customer requests to maintain on-time shipping schedules
- Maintain positive relationships with customers through effective communication and service
- Prepare and submit required reports on daily activities, receiving, and shipping as per customer requirements
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards following 5S principles and security protocols
- Perform timely and accurate system transactions for incoming and outgoing shipments, documentation, and related processes in WMS, SAP, or Oracle
- Report any issues or discrepancies to the Leader or Supervisor immediately
- Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) equipment as required
- Comply with all safety and security protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) of Omni All In (Singapore) Pte. Ltd.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Prior experience using SAP for shipment and order management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple tasks
- Willingness to work a 5.5-day workweek with normal and middle shifts, including overtime when required
