About the role

We are seeking a skilled SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality) Manager to join our dynamic team at SCHÜTZ Singapore Pte. Ltd. in the Tuas West Region. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of safety, health, environmental protection, and quality across our operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Must have knowledge in product stewardship in the following areas Change Management, New enhancement, Tech knowledge, Customer Compliance and Product Testing.

  2. Must have actual on-site deployment experience.

  3. Possess knowledge on treatment of waste management.

  4. Ensure plant processes and controls are in compliance with Industry ISO standards and local and international regulations. Possess knowledge and certification in ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and FSSC 22000.

  5. Align all quality production activity to meet operations objectives and sales targets.

  6. Recommend new quality checks to improve product quality inspections for production and all quality related issues.

  7. Perform random product quality inspections & prepare documentations needed to meet and achieve industry certification for produced finished products

  8. Responsible for all QA and QC processes as well as all safety and environmental practices within the plant. To review, establish and update.

  9. Conduct internal reviews and audits for regulatory compliance, prepare audit reports and ensure corrective actions are followed up.

  10. Handle customer complaints and provide resolution.

  11. Conduct, analyses & report incident investigations, and oversee recommendations for proper follow-up and closure.

  12. Manage plant safety, health and environment protection together with Production Manager.

  13. You will also be responsible for any office safety compliance and to work with the respective office building management, if needed.

  14. This role will report to Head Quarters Quality Compliance (Germany) and the General Manager (Singapore).

  15. Any other duties as and when required to be done by superior.

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a SHEQ management role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

  2. Proven track record of developing and implementing effective SHEQ management systems.

  3. Strong technical knowledge of SHEQ-related legislation, regulations, and industry standards.

  4. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

  5. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

  6. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, or Quality Assurance.
