SHEET METAL WORKER

Responsibilities

• Cut, bend, shape, and assemble sheet metal products such as HVAC ductwork and roofing following blueprints to meet project specifications
• Use layout and marking tools to measure and mark metal components precisely for accurate fabrication
• Operate machinery including shears, press brakes, lasers, and welding equipment to produce metal parts efficiently and safely
• Troubleshoot, repair, and install prefabricated sheet metal parts to maintain system functionality
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA standards to maintain a safe work environment and comply with quality inspection guidelines
• Apply arithmetic and geometric calculations to determine angles and measurements for accurate fabrication
• Stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials to perform physical tasks in varied work environments

Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods and lifting heavy materials
• 1-2 years of relevant experience
