Role Description The Shariah Based Financial Consultant is a full-time, on-site role located in Singapore. The consultant will meet with clients to assess their financial situation, goals, and risk tolerance, and provide advice aligned with Shariah principles. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing customized financial plans, advising on suitable investment options, and supporting clients with retirement planning strategies. The role involves conducting regular portfolio reviews, monitoring market developments, and keeping clients informed of relevant changes. The consultant will also contribute to financial literacy initiatives, such as workshops or educational sessions, and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Financial Planning and Finance, with the ability to design tailored, Shariah-compliant financial strategies.
  • Knowledge of Investments and Retirement Planning to guide clients on long-term wealth accumulation and preservation.
  • Demonstrated Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, assess risks, and present clear, data-driven recommendations.
  • Understanding of Shariah finance principles and ethical investment practices, or willingness to develop expertise in this area.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in accessible, client-friendly language.
  • Relevant academic background in finance, economics, business, or a related field; professional certifications in financial planning or Islamic finance are an advantage.
  • Proactive, client-focused mindset with strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
