Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Administrator & Developer to manage, support, and enhance our SharePoint Online and On-Premises environments. The candidate will be responsible for ongoing system maintenance, user support, customization, development, and integration of SharePoint solutions to meet business needs. The role also involves ensuring compliance with IT security policies and delivering solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of SharePoint environments (Online and On-Premises).
  • Provide technical support and resolve incidents, service requests (SRs), and change requests (CRs) related to SharePoint.
  • Manage and support existing SharePoint farms and third-party tools/software.
  • Conduct periodic health checks and assessments of the SharePoint environment.
  • Address queries and concerns from stakeholders regarding SharePoint functionalities.
  • Configure new SharePoint sites and manage access controls and permissions.
  • Develop and deploy custom features, workflows, and applications within SharePoint.
  • Perform content migration and site migration tasks using ShareGate.
  • Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all SharePoint-related patches, updates, and configurations.
  • Support the monthly rollout of Windows security patches on SharePoint servers.
  • Ensure system compliance with IT security policies, standards, and audit requirements.
  • Complete assigned tasks within deadlines set by project managers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align SharePoint solutions with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation including user guides, training materials, and process manuals.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • SharePoint certifications in administration and development are preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of combined experience as a SharePoint Administrator and Developer.
  • Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience specifically as a SharePoint Developer.
  • Experience in Government, Research, or Education sectors
  • In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Online and previous versions of SharePoint.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Power Platform: Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • SharePoint configuration, site collections, document libraries, and metadata management.
  • SharePoint branding, farm topology, and development frameworks.
  • Custom development using SPFx, PlumSail Form Designer, C# with .NET Core/.NET 8+, and Node.js.
  • Azure services including Azure AD App Registrations, Key Vault, Graph API, and OAuth scopes.
  • Microsoft 365 Admin Center, SharePoint Admin Center, and compliance tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview).
  • PowerShell scripting: Windows PowerShell, PnP PowerShell, and SPO PowerShell.
  • Microsoft Teams and OneDrive for Business management and lifecycle policies.
  • JSON/XML parsing, report generation, log verification.
  • ShareGate for content migration and management.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow will be considered a valuable asset:
  • Preferred to have certifications:
  • Microsoft: MS-900, MS-102, PL-100, SC-300.
  • ServiceNow: Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD).
