Job Summary
We seek a skilled SharePoint Business Analyst with 5+ years of experience to bridge business needs and SharePoint solutions, driving process improvements and collaboration through expert analysis and solution design.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the SharePoint subject matter expert to guide organizational use and strategy.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document SharePoint-related business requirements using interviews, surveys, workshops, and document analysis.
- Analyze business processes and recommend improvements leveraging SharePoint capabilities to enhance operational efficiency.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of SharePoint architecture, features, and functionalities to optimize solutions aligned with business goals.
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and SharePoint solutions in partnership with technical teams and architects.
- Design and implement workflows using SharePoint Designer and Power Automate to automate business processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline workflows and improve collaboration through SharePoint tools.
- Analyze and interpret SharePoint data to generate actionable insights supporting business decision-making.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including business requirements, process flowcharts, and user manuals.
- Support testing teams by defining UAT scenarios and assisting end users to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Stay updated on SharePoint technologies, trends, and best practices to recommend continuous improvement strategies.
- Facilitate user training sessions to ensure effective adoption and utilization of SharePoint solutions.
- Apply Agile Scrum methodologies to manage product backlog, write clear user stories, prioritize features, and plan iterative releases.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Experience working in a global environment.
- Familiarity with business analysis tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and prototyping tools like Figma.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Knowledge of SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server on-premises versions (2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, Subscription Edition).
- Experience in SharePoint migration projects, including planning and execution.
- Understanding of SharePoint security models and best practices.
- Experience in change management processes related to SharePoint implementations.
- Knowledge of UX principles to ensure user-friendly SharePoint solutions.
