Our client is a prestigious international business group. This role sits within their Singapore team, and involves providing trade, middle and back-office support to an investment fund/trading platform. You will have the opportunity to work across their global offices.
What the job involves
- Provide trade support to Head of Trading, ensuring smooth settlement of trades with brokers and custodians
- Deliver accurate and timely portfolio management reporting for the Capital team, including quarterly financials and P&L reporting on positions
- Manage daily cash, trade, and FX management, settlement and reconciliations. Own every transaction
- Support the preparation of monthly accounts, financial statements, and assist with the coordination of audits
- Handle tax compliance, filings, and management fee allocations across jurisdictions
- Support KYC and onboarding of brokers, custodians, and other counterparties
- Perform other finance and operational tasks, as required
Who we are looking for
- Considerable years of experience in settlements, finance operations, or fund accounting within reputable global financial services firms based in Singapore
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field
- Familiarity with both public markets and private markets
- Strong knowledge of the trade lifecycle and solid understanding of settlement cycles
- Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial and P&L reporting, and tax regulations. Hands-on experience preparing management accounts, financial statements, and coordinating audits
- Practical experience working with custodians, brokers, and fund administrators
