Job Description - Settlement and Operations Officer
We are seeking a detail-oriented Settlement and Operations Officer to support the firm's day-to-day middle- and back-office operations. This role is key in ensuring accurate trade settlements, reconciliations, and smooth coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
. Support daily operations, including trade settlement, trade reconciliations, fund payments, and fund report preparation

. Perform monthly NAV reconciliations

. Liaise with auditors, fund administrators, custodians, brokers, counterparties, and legal consultants

. Communicate with brokers to ensure timely trade settlements

. Support day-to-day middle- and back-office operations, including broker account setup

. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including reporting and filing

. Participate in the development and implementation of operational processes and procedures to improve efficiency

. Perform ad-hoc operational duties as required

Requirements
. Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, including at least 1 year in back-office or fund operations at an asset manager, fund administrator, or buy/sell-side financial institution

. Strong quantitative and analytical skills excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office

. Familiarity with hedge fund valuation (NAV), financial statements, and accounting practices

. Meticulous, detail-oriented, and organized

. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English fluency in Mandarin is an advantage as as the role may involve liaising with Mandarin-speaking clients or stakeholders

. Proficiency with Bloomberg Terminal

. Relevant degree from an internationally recognized university
