Servo engineer Intern

About our group:

As part of Asia Drive Engineering Organization, China Functional Engineering team is responsible for the technical solutions for Seagate Hard Drive products in quality, reliability and yield improvements. Our team is comprised of five functional groups, covering all aspects of HDD technology - Servo, Mechanical, Recording head & media integration, Read/Write channel electronics and Tribology.

About the role - you will:

. Support team members on servo system data collection and analysis.
. Understand how to perform servo system failure analysis on hard disc drive failures and determine root cause. Work with various groups to develop corrective actions and follow through the implementations.
. Conceive and develop solutions to engineering programs through the application of professionally accepted engineering techniques, practices and procedures.

About you:

. Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Physics, Mathematics, Statistics or relevant disciplines.
. Basic HDD knowledge. Demonstrated ability to solve conflicts and deliver optimized solutions.
. Has positive attitude for work and willing to take challenge.
. Data analytic experience & familiar with MATLAB and C programming
. Good communication skills with fluent oral and written English.
