Role Overview
We are looking for a detail‑oriented ServiceNow Test Engineer with hands‑on experience in testing platform upgrades and enterprise modules such as ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM.
In this role, you will be responsible for validating ServiceNow platform changes, ensuring system stability during upgrades, and testing custom applications built on the Now Platform. This is an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise‑scale ServiceNow implementations and upgrade projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive testing of ServiceNow version upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption and validating system stability
- Validate functionality and integration for key ServiceNow modules:
- ITSM (IT Service Management)
- ITOM (IT Operations Management)
- ITAM (IT Asset Management)
- Test custom applications on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring alignment with business requirements
- Design, execute, and document test cases, test scenarios, and test results
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects to closure
- Collaborate closely with developers, functional teams, and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery
- Support regression testing, UAT cycles, and release validation activities
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2+ years of hands‑on experience in testing ServiceNow version upgrades
- Strong functional knowledge of:
- ITSM
- ITOM
- ITAM
- Experience in testing custom applications built on the ServiceNow (Now) platform
- Strong understanding of functional, regression, and integration testing
- Good defect management and test documentation practices
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience in test automation, including:
- ServiceNow ATF (Automated Test Framework)
- Selenium with Java
- Exposure to automation strategies within ServiceNow environments
