ServiceNow Solution Architect
Role Summary: We are seeking a ServiceNow Solution Architect to lead the strategic design and deployment of our enterprise ecosystems. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud architecture principles to architect scalable, secure, and resilient solutions on the ServiceNow cloud platform. You will bridge the gap between business goals and complex cloud infrastructure, driving digital transformation through cloud-native integrations and modernized workflow orchestration.
Core Responsibilities:
Cloud Strategy & Enterprise Architecture
- Define Cloud Roadmap: Spearhead the development of the organization's enterprise cloud architecture vision, ensuring the ServiceNow PaaS roadmap aligns with broader multi-cloud strategies (AWS/Azure integration).
- Scalable Solution Design: Architect end-to-end cloud solutions that ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability across the enterprise stack.
- Establish Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) frameworks and governance models to ensure secure and compliant platform growth.
- Modernization: Drive the adoption of modern cloud development practices, including DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies within the platform.
PaaS Design & Integration
- Cross-Cloud Orchestration: Design complex integration architectures using REST/SOAP APIs and Integration Hub to connect the ServiceNow cloud with external cloud infrastructure (IaaS) and SaaS applications.
- Security Architecture: Lead architectural decisions for security compliance, data sovereignty, and identity management (SSO/SAML) within the cloud environment.
- Performance Optimization: Conduct regular architecture assessments and optimization reviews to ensure the cloud platform meets enterprise performance metrics.
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical leadership on ServiceNow App Engine (low-code/no-code PaaS) to replace legacy on-premise applications with cloud-native solutions.
- Mentor engineering teams on cloud best practices, architectural patterns, and emerging technologies (AI/Machine Learning).
Required Qualifications:
Experience
- 7+ years of Enterprise IT experience with a focus on Cloud Architecture.
- Proven track record of architecting large-scale cloud transformations and platform implementations.
- Extensive experience designing solutions across cloud capabilities including IT Service Management (ITSM), Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), and Strategic Portfolio Management.
- Demonstrated ability to design secure cloud integrations and data flows between on-premise and cloud systems.
Technical Expertise
- Cloud Mastery: Deep understanding of the ServiceNow architecture, including CMDB (Cloud Resource mapping), Flow Designer, and App Engine.
- Integration Skills: Expert knowledge of modern integration patterns (API, Webhooks, Microservices) and cloud security standards (Oauth, ACLs).
- Development: Strong scripting background in JavaScript and cloud automation tools.
- Analytics: Proficiency in leveraging Now Intelligence & AI capabilities for predictive cloud operations.
Certifications (Preferred)
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
- Cloud Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Architect (beneficial to demonstrate broader cloud competency).
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field
