ServiceNow Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement ServiceNow solutions, focusing on Customer Service Management (CSM) and IT Service Management (ITSM) modules.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

• Define and enforce best practices, architecture standards and governance for the ServiceNow platform.

• Oversee platform configuration, customization, scripting and integration with third-party systems.

• Lead and guide internal teams through technical mentorship and knowledge transfer.

• Ensure system performance, reliability, scalability and security of the ServiceNow platform.

• Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and capabilities, proactively identifying opportunities for platform improvements and optimization.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of overall IT experience, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and architecture.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

• Proven experience delivering solutions using ServiceNow CSM and ITSM modules in complex enterprise environments.

• Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, including:

  • Service Catalog

  • Workflow & Flow Designer

  • CMDB (Configuration Management Database)

  • Knowledge Management

  • Performance Analytics

  • IntegrationHub

  • User Portal and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)

• Strong scripting skills in JavaScript, Glide and ServiceNow APIs.

• Experience with ServiceNow App Engine, custom application development and platform governance.
