Key Responsibilities
App Engine Development
- Design, build, and deploy custom scoped applications using ServiceNow App Engine.
- Develop: Custom tables, forms, and modules, Business rules, client scripts, UI policies, Flow Designer workflows and approvals, Role-based experiences and access controls
- Leverage low-code/no-code capabilities while applying scripting where required.
Platform Configuration & Governance
- Ensure applications are upgrade-safe, scalable, and aligned with ServiceNow best practices.
- Implement security, roles, and ACLs aligned with Singapore public sector governance standards.
- Apply data segregation, audit logging, and compliance controls where required.
Integration & Automation
- Build integrations with internal and external systems using REST APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Server.
- Automate processes using Flow Designer, including notifications, SLAs, and approvals.
Delivery & Collaboration
- Work closely with solution architects, business analysts, and delivery teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile delivery ceremonies including sprint planning, development, testing, UAT support, and deployments.
- Support application documentation, handover, and knowledge transfer.
- Deliver custom applications, documentation, and security expectations.
- Support audits, security reviews, and operational readiness activities
Required Experience & Skills
- 5-6 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong experience building custom applications using ServiceNow App Engine.
- Solid knowledge of - Scoped applications, ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript), Flow Designer,Roles, ACLs, and security configuration
- ServiceNow CIS - Application Developer (CIS-AppDev) or CAD certification.
- Willingness to complete a practical App Engine assessment on a ServiceNow PDI.
