Job Summary
You will install, maintain, and repair chiller systems for semiconductor clients, troubleshoot issues onsite, and perform workshop repairs to ensure optimal temperature control for semiconductor production.
Responsibilities
- Install chiller systems at semiconductor customer sites to meet operational requirements
- Troubleshoot and repair chiller systems onsite to minimize downtime and maintain production quality
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks in the workshop (Eg. leak repairs, fire brazing, compressor replacements, condenser, and evaporator servicing)
- Follow service standards, work instructions, and customer specifications to ensure quality and safety
- Respond promptly and effectively to customer queries to support service satisfaction
- Communicate clearly in English and Mandarin to assist Mandarin-speaking clients and coordinate with customers
- Work flexibly after hours, on weekends, and public holidays as required to meet customer needs
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Nitec or Higher Nitec in Engineering or Electronics discipline
- Diploma in Engineering or Electronics discipline
- Experience in air-conditioning repair, maintenance, or HVAC industries
- Background knowledge in refrigeration, mechanical, or electrical engineering
- Understanding of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating principles
- Must be able to speak English & Mandarin to customers. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
