Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out Production, Service, Repair, Installation, FAT, Field Construction, Plant Commissioning, Sea trials, and Inspection of Customer Supplied Product.
- Ability to maintain good project documentation and is familiar with ISO documentation requirements such as Job Safety Analysis, Work Method Statement and Permit to Work Application requirements and procedures.
- Requisition Key equipment and materials.
- Liaise with customer on the installation requirements such as hot work, welding, carpentry work and running of cabling.
- Inform Managers of additional requirements from customer.
- Ensure that jobs are carried out to meet acceptance criteria as per technical / installation manual.
- Assist in preparing the design, drawing, and documents for Customer's technical requirements.
- Assist in developing a complete field support process covering all products.
- Identify and record quality problem related to product or service.
- Carry out responsibility of equipment owner in the handling and usage of inspection, measuring, and test equipment.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Managers and Engineers.
- Authorize the release of equipment to the customer after meeting specified standard in the production, service, repair, installation, and commissioning work.
- Prepare and endorse service report.
- Decide on the location of installation of new equipment onboard vessels or at site.
- Provides and coordinates replies to the technical inquiries with Sales Personnel.
Requirements:
- Nitec in Electronics/Mechatronics and any equivelant discipline with minimum 2 years relevant experience
