Service Technician

Service Technician will be required to service, repair and calibrate a wide range of measuring equipment to company standards & procedures. This will involve lifting and applying weights to calibration equipment, making adjustments as required and recording the results accurately to produce calibration certificates.

This hands-on role also involves the set-up/repair of equipment to the required tolerances and fault finding to component level.

Attention to detail to meet quality standards is essential, together with the ability to multi-task and think laterally in problem solving.

Responsibilities:

• To carry out calibrations & adjustment to the required standards.
• Setup of instrumentation/equipment.
• Fault finding and repair of equipment.
• To receive, interpret and carry out the requests of customers (internal and external) with regards to calibrations.
• Liaise with customers (internal and external) to give product information.
• Liaise with customers (internal and external) to provide technical support.
• To advise laboratory management promptly of potential or actual issues requiring action.
• A minimum qualification of Diploma in electronics, electrical, mechatronics or mechanical engineering
