Job Summary
Softgridinc Pte Ltd seeks a hands-on Service Technician (Electrical & Network) to install, maintain, and troubleshoot IoT systems onsite, ensuring timely responses and adherence to service level agreements.
Employment Type:
- 1-year contract (renewable based on performance and business needs
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Office hours (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
- Excluding Public Holidays
- May require standby or after-office-hours support when necessary
Salary Range (Suggested):
SGD 2,500 - SGD 3,200 per month (depending on experience)

Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain electrical and network systems and equipment onsite to ensure operational functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults and basic network connectivity issues to minimize downtime
- Support setup and maintenance of systems including CCTV, sensors, and monitoring devices to ensure proper operation
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and prevent potential system failures
- Assist in configuring basic network settings such as IP addressing, cabling, and connectivity checks to maintain network integrity
- Respond promptly to service requests and incidents within defined SLA timelines to meet customer expectations
- Accurately update and close service tickets in the system to maintain clear service records
- Maintain detailed documentation, reports, and service records for compliance and tracking purposes
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers to provide clear updates on issue status and resolution progress
- Escalate unresolved issues promptly to appropriate personnel to ensure timely resolution
- Meet KPIs including first response time, resolution time, first-time fix rate, number of tickets closed, and accuracy of reporting to achieve service excellence
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and timely service delivery
Required competencies and certifications
- NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, IT, or related field
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring to perform installation and troubleshooting tasks
- Basic understanding of networking concepts including LAN, IP addressing, routers, and switches to support network configuration
- Valid motorcycle license (Class 2B/2A/2) to travel to multiple sites daily
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience working with CCTV, surveillance, or IoT systems to enhance system support capabilities
- Familiarity with multimeter, cable tester, and network tester to assist in diagnostics and maintenance
- Knowledge of structured cabling standards (Cat5e/Cat6) to support network installations
- Prior field service experience to effectively manage onsite service tasks
