About the role

This position is for an assistant Field technician in Aftermarket and Service who is under immediate supervision. Performs on-site field service directly to customers regarding installing, updating, operating, maintaining, repairing and removing of equipment to meet customer requirements. Uses detailed company guidelines to perform basic on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration after installation. Responsible for developing basic skills in the execution of existing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Service Technician, you'll be responsible for:

• Perform troubleshooting and give recommendations for repairs for Fan Coil Units (FCU), Air Handling Units (AHU) and Split Units under service agreement/warranty.
• Works under immediate supervision to perform on-site field service directly to customers regarding installing, updating, operating, maintaining, repairing and removing of equipment to meet customer requirements.
• Uses detailed company guidelines to assist with installation, testing, servicing and repairing of basic equipment to conform with company operating specifications and customer requirements.
• Uses detailed company guidelines to perform basic on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration after installation.
• Assists with inspecting equipment on a regular basis.
• Assists with maintenance of equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, or tests and submits weekly reports summarizing these activities.
• Perform 24/7 standby duty (rostered) for complaint and breakdown.

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

• Min. Nitec OR Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in HVAC/M&E industry.
• Experience in HVAC system design is desired to have.
