Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to play a key part in supporting the successful execution of service orders across Southeast Asia and other assigned regions. You will work closely with Service Operations Managers, Field Service Engineers, Sales teams, Project Managers, and customers to ensure service orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company procedures.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Automation - Process Industries (AUPI) in Southeast Asia cluster. Main stakeholders include Service Operations Managers, Service Engineers, Sales Teams, Project Managers, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customers.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Creating, maintaining, and closing service orders in SAP and other business systems while ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company processes.
  • Monitoring order progress, identifying execution risks or delays, and proactively coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely completion and delivery of service orders.
  • Managing invoicing processes by reviewing order completion documentation, releasing billing requests, and following up on outstanding administrative requirements to support timely revenue recognition.
  • Controlling documentation accuracy and consistency based on tasks assigned and procedures agreed upon with the customer.
  • Ensuring compliance with ABB health, safety, integrity, export control, and business process requirements throughout the order lifecycle.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and service delivery performance.

Qualifications for the role
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in order handling, project coordination, service administration, operations support, or a similar role within an industrial, engineering, automation, or service environment. Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP, with experience in service order management, procurement processes, invoicing, and reporting activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, with the ability to manage and analyze operational data effectively.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions, countries, and organizational levels.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Singapore without current or future employer sponsorship requirements.
