Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Staff management: Supervise and mentor employees, train new hires, create and manage team schedules, and evaluate performance.
  • Operations oversight: Oversee daily operations to ensure high-quality service and efficiency. This can include managing administrative roles, customer service, and general services like supplies and maintenance.
  • Problem-solving: Resolve work problems and customer complaints effectively.
  • Goal achievement: Ensure the team meets service requirements and targets set by management.
  • Perform installation, testing, servicing, and maintenance of machinery and equipment
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and conduct on-site repairs in a timely and efficient manner
  • Carry out routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics
  • Prepare detailed service reports and documentation for each job completed
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures during all service activities
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and customer service teams for issue resolution and product improvements

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • NITEC/ITE
  • Proven experience as a service technician or in a technical support role (minimum 2 years preferred)
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently or in a team
  • Must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident (PR)
  • Possession of a valid Class 3 driving license is an advantage
