Job Description

Our client is a Japanese forklift dealer providing a comprehensive range of forklift rental and sales services in Singapore. They are seeking a Service/Maintenance Assistant Manager - Forklift (Japanese Speaking) to oversee service and maintenance operations, including team supervision and on-site service coordination.

This role reports to the Director.

【Responsibilities】
- Oversee and manage the service and maintenance team in daily operations
- Supervise inspection, repair, and on-site servicing of forklifts and warehouse equipment
- Coordinate with vendors and manage procurement of parts and materials
- Plan and arrange work schedules, and provide guidance and training to service staff
- Respond to customer enquiries and ensure service quality standards and timelines are met
- Support overall operational coordination and continuous improvement of service processes

Requirement

【 Requirement & Preferences 】

(Must)
- Minimum O Level or equivalent qualification
- At least 5 years of experience in service and maintenance operations within the forklift or related equipment industry
- Ability to communicate in English and Japanese (JLPT N1) to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in vendor management and negotiation
- Strong interest in team leadership and operational management responsibilities

(Advantageous)
- Prior supervisory or management experience
