Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor lift and escalator projects from commencement through completion.
• Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and relevant authorities.
• Review technical drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate site activities and monitor project progress against schedules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and site-related issues during installation and commissioning.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications and safety requirements.
• Prepare project documentation, progress reports and technical submissions.
• Coordinate testing, inspection and rectification works prior to project handover.
• Monitor project materials, equipment and manpower requirements.
• Work closely with service and operations teams to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Singapore lift and escalator regulations and safety requirements.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on project status.
• Support the Project Manager in managing project timelines, costs and quality.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in lift, escalator, building services, M&E or related engineering projects.
• Experience in lift or escalator installation, testing, commissioning or maintenance will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Able to troubleshoot technical and site-related issues.
• Good project coordination and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple project activities.
• Willing to travel to different project sites in Singapore.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Candidates with relevant Singapore project experience will be preferred.
